Pfff i love x58 but it is old now…

  2. MrPoxman says:

It’s all about Price > Performance People, who gives a shit if intel has the fatest processor if it cost around $700.

One of the best cars is a Ferrari but are you ever going to buy one?

intel = greedy assholes who want make a new socket every 5 min

  3. laizel05 says:

    @GameScraper

LOL so the core i7 990x is the fastest CPU?

  4. Luger718A1 says:

@Sphoxros they are physical but wont be as good as a true core, but who knows right? gotta wait to see those benchmarks cant wait!

  5. Sphoxros says:

@vierme666 I’m thinking with the recent releases of compatible mobo’s on the market now that a release of the new bulldozers will most likely be around X-mas, that’s usually a good time to release new hardware and games etc its just a marketing habit I have noticed over the years of building PCs myself.

  6. Sphoxros says:

@Luger718A1 Except they are actual physical cores unlike with Intel where your have 2 physical cores and 2 emulated cores (Hyperthreading) . I like the way AMD is going about this, should perform really well in just about everything thats thrown at it and run cool at the same time even at higher clocks, with the same or less power being used as the previous cpu’s.

  7. vierme666 says:

So, when will bulldozer finally be released on market ?

  8. IvorStiffan says:

Will support komodo? If it does this will be an amazing board but ill probably go with Crosshair V :P

  9. ilopskate says:

    i want a montherboard like that T_T i have a ASUS m2n68-am se2 :( :(:(:(:(:(:(

  10. bradfordaldenadams says:

I would like to see a unboxing and review on the board I just bought, the asus sabetooth 990fx from you as well, I was going to wait for the crosshair V but I really don’t like the red+black theme (I know sounds dumb) plus it has (the ST) more sata ports and the lay out is much friendlier to most people. I also don’t like that the CH:V will have a xpander to extend pci-e slot with the thunderbolt model but won’t sell just the xpander on its own also talk about marketing!

  11. Militarwizard says:

Can u send me something you unbox please?

  12. Luger718A1 says:

its not 8 “TRUE” cores its kind of like 4 cores with hyperthreading but better read the wiki article to understand what a bulldozer module (2 cores) is!!!!

i never do this but please thumbs this up so people can know and not just go “ZOMG 8 CORES”

  13. DaixKun says:

I don’t know anyone with an AMD/Nvidia build.

  14. TheSupersurgical says:

@AznInTheGhetto . ..odd thing, I didnt notice that the Xeon E5620 Westmere chips where nehalem’s. I was gonna go with a sandy bridge version of xeon’s but they where not dual socket style so I jumped to the Xeon E5620′s. . ..Iam not so much concerned with benchmarks as Iam with being able to pull off multiple renders while at the same time mebbe working on other projects.

  15. CarrionIIX says:

@Militarwizard give em away!!!! yay!!! do i get one? lol

  16. cbremer83 says:

for those that did not see it, this is the PCIe channels as far as wired connections.

    Starting at the top slot;

    16
    4
    8
    4
    16
    PCI
    8

Be careful if you get one not to drop a card in a 4x slot.

Thumbs up to inform others since it’s not explained in the vid.

  17. BramSLI1 says:

These boards support the older AM3 Phenom II processors as well as the Bulldozers when they come out. And when we get these products to unbox them we have to test them as well for the reviews. What we do with them after we test them is up to Elric.

  18. publicenemy66613 says:

@iGhost I agree with you, I am also using the Asus Xonar Essence ST. The only problem is that with this board it looks like the pci slot will be covered while running SLI.

  19. Sphoxros says:

Awesome board but I have 1 question… does AMD support these new AM3 boards atm ? the bulldozers aren’t even on the market atm.

  20. AznInTheGhetto says:

@TheSupersurgical that’s why TDP is shown each and every processor. sandy bridge doesn’t use as much as power as nehalem due to smaller transistors and architecture differences, unless you OC but sandy bridge still beats nehalem in this field also.

  21. STRIKER520 says:

@DragiBubi That is one of the reasons to go smaller you can fit more on a chip and use the same or less power with higher clock speeds.

  22. TheSupersurgical says:

    . ..amazing mobo,,
    .
    .
    .

  23. TheSupersurgical says:

@AznInTheGhetto . …nm seems to cut heat issues down greatly,, 45-32 = greatly reduced heat issues with Intel that is. This may or may not hold true with AMD.

  24. VidsEpic says:

If the FX don’t beat the 990x then AMD can go make pocket calculators.

  25. miestarSqils says:

    @Militarwizard sell it to smirths
