    A good board, I use the assassin very satisfied
    even exceed the price but in my country gigabyte distributor service very satisfactory. I still use the X58 before X79 came out.

  5. LuKaS2oo9 says:

    it seems we’ll just have to wait to Q3 to see X58 replace, the X68 chipset with LGA 1356 socket :P

  10. Dim2go says:

    i agree with elric x58 is still kicking and better for high-end users/systems.

    p67 cheaper solution for most of the crowd/gamers.

    Guys, doesn’t this seem like an attempt to sell the rest of the 1366 processors before releasing the rest of the 1155s and the new socket 2011 processors?

    I really wish I had stuck to a GB board… I recently switched to ASUS… 1st non GB board in going on… 5 years maybe more… and it sucks hard… like off the bat it was trying to OC my proc… :/

  23. DynamicJDUB99 says:

    X58 isnt outdated, the processors may be more expensive but they are better and has better PCI bandwidth and more RAM support

  24. tqrules01 says:

    what i really hope is that amd gett their platform problems fixed. the 790 and the 890 chipsetts have almost no performance increase and to top that that 6x processor they released runs as fast as a core i5 quad core unless the software is really really well coded. then the multi theading does help but then its not enough to really satisfy the end user. to the naked eye x58 with its full 12core multi threaded + triple channel ddr 3 support does offer high end performance and is the king people,,

    @ColdArmy001 AMD for the win
