I have an acer laptop model 5534 which is locked and have no idea what the bios password would be i know it is an acer bios and I searched half the night looking online and came up with nothing. I am skeptical on purchasing the bios software off of various websites not sure if they would really work or not.
I have already taken the cmos battery out once before around 4 or 5 hours and it was still locked.

Do you mean bios, not bio?
I know some methods to bypass bios password.
1. The best and easiest method: Open you computer box, take out the cmos battery from the mainboard. Then the bios password will be reset to blank.

3. Use the bios password recovery tool http://www.biospasswordrecovery.com, but that is not free!

take out the Cmos battery for 1 hour that will reset the password to the default
