This is a quick and simple way to expand the memory usage of minecraft without downloading any 3rd party programs. Doing this will make game play run smoothly with almost no lag at all with the highest settings. If you still have a slight lag, I recommend turning smooth lighting off, that is usually the problem. Steps: #1: Open up the folder containing the Minecraft game. #2: Right click and make a new text document or .txt file. #3: Now open the text file you just created and copy and paste this to it: @ECHO OFF “Your java path here\javaw.exe” java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar “Your minecraft path here\minecraft.exe” #4: Then go to file; Save As, and make sure to save it as a .bat file. For example, I named mine memory.bat. #5 Now try running minecraft with high settings!

Thanks for the video man! Didn’t work until I removed “java” from in front of the “-Xmx1024M” but still….Great help! Now I’m running Minecraft with 4 Gigs!
